• Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with the Board of Peace’s High Representative for Gaza, Nickolay Mladenov, who failed during the past month to convince Hamas leaders to disarm. The meeting came after a cabinet discussion on the possibility of returning to fighting in the Gaza Strip.

• • Iran attacked the United Arab Emirates for the first time since April 8, after the American “Operation Project Freedom” succeeded in cracking but not breaking the Iranian blockade.
