About The Institute

Mission Statement

The David Institute for Security Policy is an indepedent, non-profit think tank dedicated to research and education on security, defense, and foreign policy. Part of the IDSF group - Israel’s Defense and Security Forum, a non-partisan association founded in 2020 by senior figures from the Israeli defense establishment - the Institute focuses on Israel’s national security interests, Middle East geostrategy, anti-Semitism and delegitimization, and interconnectivity between the region and the United States, Europe, and the wider Western world.

Our work is designed to provide clarity to policymakers and the public with a clear mission in mind: securing Israel and the Jewish people for generations. It spans timely analysis of rapidly-evolving events, innovative in-depth research, academic publications, and actionable policy recommendations. The Institute’s Data Center provides unique real-time insights and figures, boosting our capacity to provide data-driven briefings.

A central part of our mission is training and cultivating the next generation of thinkers, researchers, and practitioners, expanding the presence of our core values.

The Institute unites a multidisciplinary, hybrid team of experts, academics, practitioners, public voices, and emerging researchers, forming a dynamic hub of subject-matter expertise and strategic thought. Comment end
