Yishai Gelb is an entrepreneur and researcher dedicated to advancing Israel’s strategic interests. He currently leads the War in Israel Data Center at the David Institute for Policy and Strategy, where he plays a central role in gathering, analyzing, and presenting real-time data to decision-makers, researchers, and the public. As a member of the Institute’s research department, Yishai spearheads efforts to transform complex battlefield realities into clear, actionable insights.

Beyond his research work, Yishai is the VP of My Tree in Israel, a groundbreaking program that connects global supporters directly with Israeli farmers through olive oil, wine, and whisky production.

He also serves as Project Manager at Connections Israel, expanding grassroots engagement and building bridges between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide.

A veteran of the Israeli Air Force, Yishai earned his B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and his MBA from Haifa University. His career began with internships in public diplomacy and international relations, laying the groundwork for his unique combination of strategic analysis, policy innovation, Business and community engagement.
