Overview

• The International Stabilization Force (ISF) is slated to begin deployment in January, but no country has agreed to actually fight Hamas or to protect the Yellow Line from Hamas fire, a role that seems to destined continue to be the domain of the IDF.

• The IDF carried out a precision strike in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district based on real-time intelligence received merely one hour earlier. The target was Ali Tabatabai, the Chief of Staff of Hezbollah—the third Hezbollah CoS killed in the war.

• In a botched raid in Syria, 6 IDF troops were injured and a military hummer was abandoned (and later destroyed by the IDF). Troops were ambushed by Jamaat Islamiyya- a Sunni organization tied to both Hamas and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

• The Abo-Shabab militia published a video showing a Hamas militant who surrendered to them before being transferred to the IDF. He stated on camera that he belonged to Hamas’s East Rafah Battalion.

• President Trump announced the start of a process to outlaw the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States, accusing it of promoting terrorism in the U.S., the Middle East, and worldwide.
