Overview

• A new joint U.S.–Israeli command center is being established in Kiryat Gat, manned by 200 U.S. soldiers under CENTCOM command. The base will host representatives from 12 countries — including Greece, Denmark, Jordan, the UAE, and Spain.

• At the Kiryat Gat base, Secretary of State Marco Rubio reiterated that Hamas’s refusal to disarm constitutes a breach of the agreement, though no enforcement mechanism was specified.
