Yossi Amrusi is a former senior official in the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), where he served for 30 years in a variety of operational and senior management positions—most of them in the Gaza Strip sector.

Amrusi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic and Islam from Bar-Ilan University and a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution, Mediation, and Negotiation, also from Bar-Ilan University. He is a graduate of the Shin Bet’s senior management programs. Today, he lectures and serves as a commentator for Israeli and international media on issues related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
