Itay Katz is a reserves’ combat officer in the IDF. Formally the commander of combat training for reservists, he now commands the paratrooper combat training for new recruits in his reserves service.

Currently he is studying for his BA in  Middle East Studies and General History in the Ben-Gurion University in the Negev.
