On Friday, January 9, 2026, US President Donald Trump said that Washington was following very closely the unfolding situation in Iran and warned that the United States would hit Iran “very hard and where it hurts” if the Islamic Republic kills the people demonstrating against the regime.

However, the Khomeinist regime has already murdered thousands of demonstrators by firing without hesitation. Last week, a Tehran doctor told TIME on condition of anonymity that six hospitals in the capital had recorded at least 217 protester deaths, “most by live ammunition.” 


Moreover, the doctor claimed that most of the dead were young people, including several killed outside a northern Tehran police station when security forces fired machine gun shots at the demonstrators.


On the night of January 10, amateur videos coming from Iran showed bodies of protesters lying on the ground in a hospital in the Iranian capital.


The opposition website Iran International illustrated that in Kharizak, south of Tehran, hundreds of bodies were reported as relatives were in search of the disappeared.
