Sáron Morvay is a research fellow at the Budapest-based Danube Institute. Since October 7, when the worst single act against Jewish people since the Holocaust occurred as Hamas attacked, murdered, and tortured around 1,200 civilians and soldiers and took around 250 hostages in the most brutal ways imaginable, the Hungarian government and Jewish communities, along with thousands of civilians showed full support and solidarity with the State of Israel and the Jewish people. To showcase the deep solidarity of Hungarians since October 7, I will recollect the leading and most influential statements, actions, visits, and solidarity protests that took place in the country in this article.
